LOVELLS GAS LEGEND ‘Series 3’ SHOCK ABSORBERS

The latest Lovells ‘Series 3’ Gas Legend Twin-Tube Gas Shock Absorbers have been introduced to replace their trusty Series 2 Shocks that we have sold for many years now, and to introduce higher level of performance over many other shocks offered within the price range of this latest product.
The new Series 3 Gas Shocks now have a bigger 40mm Bore and a larger expanded body design which provides up to twice the oil capacity of some Original Equipment shock absorbers, to maximise fade resistance, run cooler and allow faster reaction time to road changes. Especially handy for harsher usage conditions.

As Dobinsons coil springs are manufactured in house, Dobinsons can manufacture smaller quantities and in most cases there are many different coil spring options available for your vehicle. King Coils
King Springs are manufactured at our Head Office and Plant on Queensland's Gold Coast. Our large, modern factory complex, comprising of 3 buildings spanning 8,000 square metres, has been purpose built from the ground up. It includes computer controlled coiling machines, gas furnaces, automatic bar peeling process, and cambering machines which have been designed and custom built by King Springs to ensure all areas of our manufacturing process are of the highest standard.
Lovell Coils

Lovells Coil Springs are designed as a superior performance replacement part for mass-produced O.E (Original Equipment) coil springs, they exceed original ratings by 10% - 50% (depending on the application), thus handling is dramatically improved and multiple ride height variations are available for most makes and models. Lovells coil springs are manufactured to the highest standard in Australian Made One Steel micro-alloy steel. Some Lovells coil springs are of progressive rate design. This design enables the
spring to increase in spring rate when you need it and decrease when you don't; ensuring the ultimate in handling and ride comfort. All heating and tempering furnaces are electronically controlled to precise temperatures.
Each spring is individually hot coiled on a variable speed PLC (Programmable Logic Controlled) coiling machine. After oil quenching and tempering, the springs are rate tested on a sample basis and scragged solid to achieve the maximum fibre stress.

BOSS load assist kits are easy to fit and most simply bolt on using basic hand tools and when filled with air, raise the rear end (when under load) to make the vehicle level again, making the vehicle safer when loaded by keeping the front wheels in contact with the road, eliminating sway and improving handling and response.
