Making a much more precise & relaxed drive especially over long distances on our crappy roads and tracks day after day when Touring or Outback!
Tough Dog Upper Control arms (UCAs) are built tough!
The end housings are forged from 1020 grade steel, as is the ball joint housing, which has been specifically crafted with a slimline design to maximise clearance.
The bushings are heavy-duty, high flex style design requiring no lubrication, for maximum life span in rough terrain.
The ball joint is constructed of high strength Chromoly steel.
For ease of servicing, all Tough Dog UCAs are designed to accept original equipment ball joint parts as spares should you ever need to.
FEATURES: - High Strength Chromoly Ball Joints - Heavy-Duty, High Flex Bushings - 1020 Grade forged housings - Up to +3.5 degrees positive Caster (lift height dependant) - Tube design gives increased clearance - Positions for factory mounting of Brake and ABS lines - IMPROVES STEERING RESPONSE & FEEL & REDUCES TYRE WEAR ON LIFTED VEHILCES - Making a more relaxed drive over long distances, day after day when Touring !
Tough Dog Upper Control arms can help get the maximum performance and lifespan from your suspension and steering components.
When an IFS vehicle is fitted with a suspension lift, the original caster and camber specifications are pushed outside the acceptable limit. The vehicle looses caster which makes the steering vague, and positive camber is introduced, which contributes to uneven and accelerated tyre wear.
Super Strong and Super Reliable, they have been tried and tested and thoroughly engineered by Tough Dog Suspension.
